So you’ve decided to take the next step in formally recognising your expertise and skills? Membership of MRS gives you access to a huge range of professional support to enhance your career.

Our membership application process is designed to guide you smoothly through the appropriate pathway, whether you are applying online for the Member (MMRS) grade or progressing through one of the 10 routes to Certified Member (CMRS) status.

Special offer for Research Live readers

Research Live readers can now save £46 when they join MRS as a member. Simply include the code RESLIVE26 at the checkout to waive the usual £46 joining fee, paying only the annual member fee of £178. Deadline is 16 February.

How to apply for Member grade (MMRS):

To join as a Member, simply complete the online application (our quickest route) or download the Member Application Form and return this to us. 

To apply for Certified (CMRS) membership you can:

• Complete the Certified Member Application Form
• Request a copy be sent to you by contacting the Membership Team on  membership@mrs.org.uk or +44 (0)20 7566 1820.
• Already a member and want to upgrade? Find out more about how you can progress to Certified Member.
