On the back of this research, the People and Talent programme was established comprising four workstreams designed to drive action and achieve real change in the research sector.
Workstream 1 is responsible for recruitment targets, recruitment channels, including the apprenticeship.
Workstream 2 focuses on developing and enhancing wellbeing resources for researchers and employers.
Workstream 3 is reviewing current training and skills provision to support informed career development.
Workstream 4 is identifying good employment practice and support to encourage sector wide improvements.
